Price Volatility In The Geotextile Market

2011 has begun with much instability in Geotextile prices, due to the escalating cost of polypropylene resin as well as other raw material shortages. Prices have risen roughly 15% already this year, with additional increases expected.
You may be noticing quote expiration dates that are not the standard 30 days, as we can only extend these quotes for as long as our vendors can extend them to us. This is even more complicated for all of us during the winter months, as we are quoting projects 3 to 4 months before material is needed.
