PROJECT NOTES: In order to minimize down time, Master Builders 10-61 rapid repair mortar was used to repair the concrete deck prior to waterproofing. Carlisle 500-R was applied to the concrete substrate and embedded with Carlisle 711 Pre-Pave (a thick self adhering rubberized asphalt membrane that is laminated to a high strength heat resistant woven mesh.) The goal of this system is to waterproof the parking deck structure while protecting the asphalt overlay from reflective cracking. Immediately following the application of the waterproofing system, the asphalt was applied.
