PROJECT NOTES: The “Tug Drive” is a path that the baggage carts repeatedly take. Over time the concrete had been broken and worn down. The airport required a durable long lasting substrate that would cause minimal downtime during installation. The solution was to saw-cut and remove the existing concrete. Master Builders 10-61 Rapid Mortar extended with a 3/8” pea rock was the new material of choice. Fast setting, easy installation and durability were the key factors in choosing this product. Over 2000 bags of material were placed at about 4” thick, resulting in minimal downtime and a very durable substrate.
