A full, single sheet of 3, 5 or 7 oz. copper, bonded with a proprietary rubber based adhesive, between two layers of fiberglass fabric. This fabric is color coated to identify the ounce weight of the copper in the product. Compatible with other building envelope systems, works in all temperatures, made of 90% recycled copper. This is the next generation of laminated copper fabric flashing. Updating the adhesive from the traditional asphalt to a new rubber based glue has resulted in a laminated flashing membrane that has all of the critical to quality characteristics of its asphaltic cousin and is lighter, more flexible, thinner and clean to work with. The elimination of the asphalt and mica dust allows for the use of an almost limitless array of caulks and sealants in lieu of mastic, gives material and adhesive compatibility with all of the membrane and spray applied air barrier solutions currently in the market and frees you of all the problems associated with any asphalt based flashing at temperature extremes.
