Black Slag (Black Blast) is made of abrasive blasting crystals used for removing rust and paint, cleaning stone and brick and glass frosting, etching and carving. Product Features:
· High Hardness – Product ranges between 6 & 7 and is characterized by low friability and low dusting.
· Angular Particle Shape – Provides for excellent abrasive qualities, high productivity, surface cleanliness and surface profile.
· Chemically Stable – is chemically inert and virtually non-leachable.
12/30 & 12/40 Medium Grade used for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting, removal of paint and rust, general purpose, structural steel, mill scale, aggregate exposure.
20/40 Fine Grade used for new construction, light paint and rust removal, and for special maintenance applications requiring reduce profiles, bridge maintenance, light mill scale, light paint & rust, new structural steel.
30/60 Extra fine grade used to clean surfaces and create a smooth finish.
